IMPLEMENTASI LITERASI BUDAYA DAN KEWARGANEGARAAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA DAN SASTRA INDONESIA

Abstract
21st century is marked by the need for basic literacy skills and skills consisting of literacy, nationalization, science, digital, finance, culture and citizenship. One of the basic literacy is cultural and citizenship literacy. Cultural literacy is the ability to understand and behave towards Indonesian culture while citizenship literacy is the ability to understand rights and citizenship as citizens. This study aims to (1) describe cultural literacy and citizenship and (2) describe the implementation of cultural literacy and citizenship in Indonesian language and literature learning. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is research that uses a scientific background with the intention of interpreting the phenomena that occur. Data is taken from written sources regarding cultural and citizenship literacy, namely various literatures and references related to the ins and outs of cultural and citizenship literacy. The results showed that cultural and civic literacy strongly support the success of learning Indonesian language and literature.
