ASESMEN DIAGNOSTIK ANALISIS STRUKTUR DAN KAIDAH KEBAHASAAN TEKS EKSPOSISI PADA SISWA KELAS X

Abstract

This study describes: 1) a diagnostic assessment of the difficulties experienced by students on tests that reasoned literacy and numeracy; (2) the effective type of diagnostic assessment test used; (3) Interpretation and follow-up determined by the next KD. Diagnostic assessment is an assessment carried out with the aim of knowing the difficulties of students at the beginning of learning so that it can be used as material to prepare students for the Minimum Competency Assessment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The instrument used, namely the Learning Implementation Plan (RPS), a diagnostic assessment test that is analyzed and concluded and interpreted and followed up. Based on the results of research at Senior High School (SMA) Negeri 1 Cisarua class x IPS 1, there were 17 students. There are difficulties in the structural aspects and language rules of the positional text with the diagnostic assessment assessment code: (1) PU (complete understanding); (2) PS1 (Partial Understanding 1); (3) PS2 (Partial Understanding 2); (4) TP (Don't Understand). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the difficulties experienced by students must be treated with different follow-ups according to the difficulties of students. This diagnostic assessment is effectively used to help students in the learning process analyze the structure and rules of exposition text and for educators through this technique can find out the weaknesses of students.
